Polyurethane tyres are puncture-proof tyres used mainly for wheelchairs, tricycles and bicycles.
They are characterised by high resistance to wear and ageing and need no maintenance. They are made of a microcellular polyurethane-based material with a special integral surface layer. The microcellular polyurethane provides softness similar to pneumatic tyres, the integral layer high wear resistance and adequate grip.

Construction and marking
The use of the tyre is declared for each product together with the recommended parameters.
Suitable rim
The rim is marked with two sizes A x C, where A is the nominal diameter and C is the rim width.
Type of use
Wheelchairs, bicycles. Other use is possible if the maximum load capacity declared for each product and the maximum speed are respected.
Maximum speed
10 km/h for wheels up to 350 mm and 40 km/h for larger diameters.
Tyre marking
Example 37-540 (24 x 1 3/8) MV1: tyre dimensions according to ETRTO in mm, dimensions in inches and the EUROPUR tread name.
